Here’s the scoop, Oddfellows Ice Cream, a popular sweet spot out of Brooklyn, will open a new location at Hyde Park Village.
OddFellows Ice Cream Co. is a family-owned and operated small business founded by husband-and-wife team Mohan and Holiday Kumar and Chef Sam Mason. They opened their flagship location in June 2013 in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Flavor varieties include olive oil, passionfruit, miso peanut butter, mandarin jasmine brûlée, and carrot cake cream cheese. Oddfellows currently operates several locations in New York, with additional scoop shops in both Massachusetts and South Korea.
The operation does ship pints nationwide, so if you have a hankering and cannot wait for their official debut, you can always get a teaser delivered direct to your door.
This isn’t the only sweet news sweeping Hyde Park Village.
Timpano Italian Chophouse, a Hyde Park staple restaurant for more nearly two decades, will reopen this year. The massive concept took over the old Samba Room restaurant space back in 2005. Its sister concept in Ft. Lauderdale is also looking to reopen.
Dessert dreams are already coming true in Tampa courtesy of The Cake Drip. The sensational concept by Faronda Davis may be the most photogenic space in the entire city.
Davis launched ABC Chefs, her successful kids cooking school, back in 2008. Over the course of several years Davis grew it to where it now has been featured on Food Network, FOX and FYI. Faronda Davis, the chef and owner of The Cake Drip decided “it’s time for some adult fun” in 2021.
The gorgeous space will be filled with more than 10,000 flowers, lots of unique decor and a great mood. The Cake Drip is a fairytale come to life.
