After almost a year of construction, Zydeco Brew Werks is officially open! On Friday, March 9th, Zydeco announced on social media that they are now open for everyone to taste their delicious brews to go alongside a Cajun-inspired menu. We can’t wait to try it!

Ybor just keeps getting better and better. Manager J. Paul Pepin along with award-winning brewer Paul Rutherford are in the process of opening Zydeco Brew Werks at 1902 E 7th Avenue. On top of a brewery, Zydeco will also feature a New Orleans-style restaurant. Guests will be able to enjoy a wrap around porch on the second floor.

The two-floor, 13,000+ sq. ft. space puts Zydeco in the heart of Ybor City’s renaissance. They’re right across the street from the always popular Blind Tiger Cafe, and a quick walk to The Orpheum and Stone Soup Company‘s new location.

Zydeco Brew Werks could be open as early as July of this year. You can follow the brewery on Facebook for updates on construction progress. The brewery/restaurant will be right next to the forthcoming mixed-used development, Casa Ybor. The project will be complete with 8 luxury studio apartments.
Ybor’s craft spirit/beer reputation continues to grow
Ybor’s craft game was already elevated by the addition of Rock Brothers Brewing and Florida Cane Distillery in recent months. Zydeco’s arrival in the area is a sign of things to come for Ybor’s economic development.
