Amtrak is set to launch an exciting new route, the Floridian, offering a direct connection from Chicago to Miami with a key stop in Tampa. The Floridian will debut on Sunday, November 10, combining elements of Amtrak’s Capitol Limited and Silver Star lines. This route promises to make travel between major cities smoother and more comfortable.

Tampa’s inclusion as a central stop on this route adds a convenient, eco-friendly travel option for locals. Whether passengers are looking to head north towards Chicago or south to Miami, they can now enjoy a direct, scenic ride. Travelers have the option of choosing Coach Class, which provides spacious seating, or upgrading to First Class. The latter offers private rooms, priority boarding, and reclining seats, designed for those looking for a more luxurious experience.
