The Mustard Seed Deli & Charcuterie Market may be the best new addition to the Tampa Bay region. The sprawling fresh market has grazing boards to-go, and one of the most exceptional sandwich selections in town. This curated space features a darn fine array of artisanal cheeses, and well sourced meats from across the country. Chef Rocco Taliani has created a savory wonderland in the area.
Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Chef Taliani moved to Tampa when he was young. The chef started working in restaurants at fifteen, and took his first job as a dishwasher in a small family-owned Italian Restaurant, according to his bio. This first job let him know that the kitchen was where he wanted to be from that point on. In addition to Mustard Seed, he currently owns and operates Chef Rocco Catering with his wife, Holly.

Huge chicken parm sandwiches, meatball subs, hot pastrami brisket, and delicious eggplant parmesan are all on the 5-star deli menu. With slightly colder days on the horizon for Tampa, and the greater Tampa area, we can think of no better delight than a gourmet grilled cheese dunked into a steaming bowl of tomato soup.
Gluten-free breads are also available upon request at the deli counter. Big blondie brownies, classic chocolate chunk cookies, and French macarons are available as perfect desserts.
The charcuterie market features meats and cheeses that span the globe from Domestic to international, including: French, Spanish, Danish, Swedish, Italian, British, and more. Alongside the delicious meats and cheeses, they have an array of savory extras to bring your board to the next level.
