Grow Financial’s “Grow On Us” campaign returns this April; the credit union will pick up the tab for locals at several restaurants and small businesses in Tampa and St. Petersburg. The first participating restaurant is Muchachas, a taco spot inside Armature Works.
Grow Financial Federal Credit Union is bringing back its popular Grow On Us campaign, a program where they pick up the tab for Tampa Bay locals at a number of small businesses.

Feeding the Tampa Bay community
“In the wake of COVID-19’s negative impacts to our local economy, the inaugural program, Grow On Us, took place from May through August of 2020,” wrote Grow Financial representatives in a release. The Grow On Us campaign was designed to stimulate Tampa Bay’s struggling businesses and offer some relief and joy to the people in the region. They worked with businesses such as Pacific Counter and Fabrica Pizza — and did indeed spark a lot of joy.
Mark your calendars because Grow On Us will begin again on Monday, April 19, and continue through the end of September, but this time with a homegrown twist.
First up, Muchachas:

April 19: Muchachas — FREE: Quesatacos, beans and rice, drink (while supplies last)
Muchachas is the recently opened sister concept to local favorite Empamamas and self-proclaimed “Casa De Los Quesatacos.” Located in Armature Works, they spend their days slinging authentic Mexican-inspired street cuisine. In honor of Tampa and the return of Grow On Us, Muchachas is offering you a free order of their famous quesabirria tacos complete with beans, rice and a drink, while supplies last.
Armature Works is located at 1910 N Ola Avenue. Muchachas is open from 11am-9pm on Monday, April 19.
