Monster Jam roars into Amalie Arena with races, stunts, and trick competitions this summer

Monster Jam is one of the most thrilling live experiences around. The event will transform Amalie Arena into the ultimate track on August 19. This happening will feature two heats: 1pm and 7pm, and tickets start at $20. Watch world-class athletes compete for championships on perfectly engineered dirt tracks that push these ever-evolving, state-of-the-art trucks to the limit. 

Each Monster Jam truck is approximately 10.5 feet tall, 12.5 feet wide, 17 feet long and weighs 12,000 pounds. These are unlike an vehicle you’ve seen before — and their size can only truly be appreciated up close. Events during Monster Jam include a racing competition, a full skills challenge with unreal stunts being performed, a donut competition sure to kick up a storm of dirt, a freestyle tricks competition.

Monster Jam fans have the opportunity to provide the scores for several competitions at each event. During the Skills Challenge, Donut, and/or Freestyle competitions, fans are encouraged to use their phone and log into JudgesZone.com.

Before the festivities officially begin, there will be a Monster Jam Pit Party where you can see the massive trucks up close, meet your favorite drivers and crews, get autographs, and take pictures. This fun-filled experience is the only place to get an insider’s look at how these 12,000-pound trucks are built to stand up to the competition.
