A massive soccer event for fans in Tampa Bay

Rob Higgins, Executive Director of the Tampa Bay Sports Commission, expressed his excitement, stating, “We could not be more thrilled to welcome Inter Miami CF and Orlando City SC to our community. Having the chance to see a legend like Messi play in Tampa is something fans will remember for a lifetime.”

This Florida Derby not only promises an electrifying rivalry but also serves as Messi’s first appearance in the state outside South Florida. Since joining MLS, Inter Miami has captured the attention of soccer fans worldwide, led by Messi’s unmatched talent and experience, including eight Ballon d’Or awards. Meanwhile, Orlando City SC, a playoff contender for five consecutive seasons under Head Coach Oscar Pareja, brings its own star-studded lineup, featuring Torres, who became the club’s all-time leading scorer in October.

Fans can also look forward to a pregame fan festival outside the stadium, free for ticket holders. For more details and match updates, follow the Tampa Bay Sports Commission on social media and visit TampaBaySports.org.
