The Market Elaine takes place at The Grove at Wesley Chapel the first Friday of every month. The event features more than 125 local vendors and runs from 5pm-9pm at 6013 Wesley Grove Blvd. This event is organized by Market Culture, and those interested in participating in any of their upcoming events can learn more about applying on their website.
In addition to small businesses, The Market Elaine includes live music and activities the entire family can enjoy. The Market Elaine and their sister market, The Market Marie in Clearwater, are named after the event organizers’ grandparents. The team writes: “Both of these amazing women showed us how to dream big, prioritize family, and love others while making the world a brighter place. Sadly, we lost both of our grandmothers during 2021, and we miss them dearly. While neither of our beloved grandmothers were able to physically visit our markets, we are grateful we can honor their names in this way.”
If you love markets, don’t forget that Water Street Tampa will debut an open air market of its own this January. The Westshore Marina District also hosts a weekend and night market of its own.
