Legoland constructs downtown Tampa entirely with Lego bricks

Brick City

The entire city is ready to be the distant Thunder. The Tampa Bay Lightning are once again in the Stanley Cup Finals and are poised to have a tough and exciting series with Dallas. While we can’t celebrate with the team in person, many in the city of Tampa, and the state of Florida are showing their support for the surging Lightning squad. That support includes a major shoutout from Legoland.

The Theme park made a model of downtown Tampa entirely with Lego bricks, and even constructed a Lego version of historic Tampa Theatre.

You can also see the Sun Trust building into the Fun-A-Must building complete with a Bolts blue top.

Legoland shared the finished product in a video on its Facebook page. This was all done in support of the Tampa Bay Lightning. You can see the full video below:

GO BOLTS! The residents of Miniland Tampa are ready to #BeTheDistantThunder and cheer on Tampa Bay Lightning for Game 3 tonight! One game closer to the Stanley Cup!
