A brand new fairytale coffee shop called Lady and the Mug is now open in Tampa. Their tagline is “Using coffee as an excuse to do good.” Owner Aimee Tarte has added a bit of magic to the city of Tampa. The concept also operates a location in Coral Springs.
The dreamy cafe features a butterfly bench, and two floral swings at its center. Start your morning with an espresso flight, or kick it into overdrive with iced nitro brew. matcha lattes, hot chocolate, and a variety of teas are also on the menu. Its monthly specials offer a kaleidoscopic spectrum of color and flavor.
Lady and the Mug isn’t just for coffee lovers. There are savory options aplenty on the menu, too. Gluten-free protein packed breakfast pockets, vegan empanadas, a McBluffin vegan breakfast sandwich, and keto-friendly delicacies round out the surprisingly deep breakfast menu.
If you have a sweet tooth, check out the vegan Twinkies, massive cinnamon rolls, gluten-free donuts, and giant cupcakes. You can order for pick up ahead of time online if you’re in a rush.
In an interview with VoyageMIA, Tarth noted that Lady and the Mug is here to help the community. Lady and the Mug is open every Thanksgiving for its annual Mugsgiving event, where anyone in the community can come to have a free feast and have a home for the holiday.
