Kendrick Lamar is one of the most acclaimed artists on the planet. The brilliance of To Pimp a Butterfly captivated critics and fans alike — and the album was so well-crafted and literary that it became a teaching tool for classrooms. Kendrick Lamar just dropped tour dates in support of his fifth album Mr Morale and the Big Steppers. The tour will make a stop at Amalie Arena in Tampa on Wednesday, July 27.

Support acts on “The Big Steppers Tour” — which has a tagline of “Come help Mr. Morale get out of the box” — is Lamar’s nephew, Baby Keem, on all dates and Tanna Leone, who also appears on the album, on select dates.

Kendrick Lamar’s new 18-track album features guest collaborations with Ghostface Killah, Kodak Black and Summer Walker. Pharrell Williams is named as a producer on “Mr. Morale.” His last studio album, DAMN, was released in 2017.

Acts such as Kane Brown, Rod Stewart, and Kevin Hart are all set to perform at Amalie Arena this spring and Summer. The Dude Perfect group will also bring their brand of wild sports trick shots to the arena, and WWE Raw is coming to Tampa in July.
