Tampa is a hot market for food trucks. There are ample underutilized lots, breweries, and recurring neighborhood events for owners to park their mobile kitchens and serve an eager (and hungry) audience. Florida Penguin Productions, an organization dedicated to putting on engaging food festivals, has announced the International Food Truck Festival at Tampa Premium Outlets on April 1 and 2.

Tickets to this event are just $5, and organizers have already confirmed 50+ food trucks for the event, with the hope of hosting at least 80 by April 1st. Organizers will be fundraising for three different charities during the festivities: Stano Foundation, Celebrate Birthdays, and GFWC Pasco Junior League.

Those interested in entering your Food Truck/Tent/Trailer into this festival can call 727-674-1464 and ask for Halee. Interested parties can also email halee(at)floridapenguinproductions.com. Florida Penguin has an online vendor portal that makes it easy to register online.

Not only is the international food truck festival family-friendly, but because it’s outdoors, it’s also pet-friendly. Enjoy a full day, 12pm-6pm, celebrating the surging and vibrant food truck culture of the greater Tampa Bay region. Teased food trucks include a few of That’s So Tampa’s staff favorites:
