Tampa Bay Comic Con is just over a month away but recent announcements have made the time between now and then almost unbearable.

Last year's event featured appearences by Evan Peters (X-Men: Days of Future Past, American Horror Story), Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones), Richard Madden (Game of Thrones, Cinderella) and John Rhys-Davies (Lord of The Rings, Indiana Jones). The field of actors and performers moves beyond juggernaut this year.

Early announcements this year included Jena Malone (Saved, Donnie Darko, Hunger Games Trilogy), Iain Glen (Ser Jorah Mormont on Game of Thrones) and Matt Ryan (Constantine).

Arguably one of the biggest names dropped earlier in the Spring was the iconic Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia from the original and forthcoming Star Wars films).

Tampa Bay Comic Con upped the anticipation with three big names joining the panels. Jessica Henwick and Keisha Castle-Hughes, recently portraying Oberyn's daughters "The Sand Snakes" Nymeria and Obara on Game of Thrones, will be in attendance all weekend.

Along with the Sand Snakes, Lea Thompson, best known for her role as Lorraine Baines/McFly in the Back To The Future trilogy, will be in attendance. She will be participating in panels all weekend.

Tampa Bay Comic Con takes over the Tampa Convention Center from July 31-August 2.
