The Hyppo, which began in St. Augustine, has slowly expanded in the Tampa Bay area and the state of Florida. Hyppo opened on the hip 600 Block of St. Pete in 2015 and just this week soft opened a shop in Ybor City. The concept brings gourmet ice pops made with fresh fruit and rather unique flavors. We have a feeling this spot is going to be clutch during Tampa's brutal summer months.

The new spot, the brands sixth, is located at 1600 East 8th Avenue. Though this is far from their debut in Tampa. The Hyppo has popped up at local markets in Tampa for months — they were most recently in attendance at the Hyde Park Villiage Healthy Market event. Flavors include: champagne mango, cucumber lemon mint, dark roast espresso, pineapple cilantro, starfruit, key lime and blueberry cinnamon. Tentative hours are Sunday through Thursday, 11am to 9pm, and Friday and Saturday from 11am to 11pm.
