Hyde Park Preservation Inc. (HPPI) is proud to announce its first ever historical homes garden tour, The Gardens & Grounds of Old Hyde Park which will take place on Saturday, December 3 10am and will go through 1pm. Several distinctive and beautiful gardens in the iconic Hyde Park neighborhood will be available to explore, with sips, snacks, music, gardening demonstrations, and other surprises along the way. Proceeds from the event will benefit the preservation and beautification efforts of Hyde Park Preservation, Inc. Tickets are available for $30 in advance or for $35 at the event.
“We are thrilled that HPPI’s inaugural Garden Tour is taking place this December ! Beyond being a fun community event, the proceeds will allow HPPI to continue to invest in neighborhood improvements such as oak trees in right of ways and plantings in common areas,” says Marylou Bailey, Hyde Park Preservation President and one of the Garden Tour host homeowners.

The Gardens & Grounds Tour is partnering with Posies Flower Truck, Cru Cellars, Buddy Brew, Game Day Salsa, Tampa Bees, Winn Dixie, and the Gasparilla Music Foundation for gardening how-tos, refreshments, and live entertainment at the homes and along the tour route.
A rare chance to experience the gardens of Hyde Park
The Gardens & Grounds of Old Hyde Park Tour continues a long series of successful home and kitchen tours that have invited the community into one of Tampa’s most charming and historic neighborhoods over the years. Tour-goers can stroll the tree covered streets past beautiful homes, just off of Bayshore Boulevard and experience some of the community’s most scenic and luxurious gardens.
The planning committee, led by co-chairs Sarah Jaycocks and Sarah Tombaugh, are hard at work attending to all the details, including partnering with Posey Flower Truck and other gardening specialists and local restaurants, as well as the Gasparilla Music Foundation, for gardening how-tos, refreshments, and live entertainment at the homes and along the tour route.
Pick up tickets at the corner of Willow and Morrison Avenues. Tour route begins at 1012 South Dakota. Free parking is available in the Hyde Park Village Garages
