Gourmet Popcorn Shop Opens in SoHo

Tampa has gained notoriety as a spot for dessert lovers courtesy of Datz legendary doughnut ice cream cone. This city has mini donuts, butterscotch pies, thick hand-spun milkshakes . . . and now gourmet popcorn.

Chef Inspired Popcorn Company just made the jump to the blossoming South Howard Avenue stretch. The thriving local scene is in for a treat with the unique flavors this foodie spot offers. Flavors include bacon cheddar, caramel espresso, chocolate covered cherry, french toast (amazing), birthday cake (one of their most popular varieties), and caramel apple.

The shop was originally located at Town ‘N Country. After a brief tenure at that location they decided to make the move to SoHo. The transition to the area began just a few weeks ago, but they managed to have their doors open the first week of September. They’re open Tuesday through Saturday, noon to 8pm, and Sunday, noon to 4pm.

If you can’t make it to the shop you can always place an order for delivery online. Located at 927 South Howard Avenue, Chef Inspired Popcorn faces the rising mixed use development managed by Franklin Street, and is a short walk to the popular Green Lemon Restaurant, Haven and Hugo’s.
