Gaspar’s Rum Hits Land in Tampa Bay

Well shiver us timbers, Gaspar’s Rum is available right here in Tampa!

Although the buried treasure of pirate and legend of the Gulf of Mexico, José Gaspar, has yet to be discovered, we can now celebrate his drink of choice unearthed many years ago.

The area’s first rum distillery, located in Ybor City at the Tampa Bay Rum Company – 2102 E. 4th Ave., is regularly open to the public for tours and tastings from 2-6pm Tuesday through Saturday. Gaspar’s spiced and coconut rums are both available now with lime and silver flavors as well as a Gasparilla spice coming soon! If you try and like any of the flavors, you can even buy a few 750-milliliter bottles of the rum at a cost of $30 each. Next time you’re downtown, check out this new gem in Ybor, that the owner’s believe “will have your palate dancing a jig.”
