The original Fresh Kitchen location on South Howard Avenue, a beloved fixture in Tampa Bay’s dining scene, caught fire recently. This incident has led to the closure of the location, which may remain permanent.
Fresh Kitchen, renowned for its gluten-free offerings, opened its first restaurant nearly ten years ago in the historic Howard House. Since then, it has become a popular spot for health-conscious diners, known for dishes like sweet potato noodles, crunchy almond chicken, roasted sweet potatoes, and their famous gluten-free chocolate chip cookies.
