“The Little Mermaid” Premiere
Thursday, August 9 from 7 pm to 9 pm Join Tampa Theatre, the Florida Aquarium, and Film Tampa Bay on the red carpet for a very special premiere screening of The Little Mermaid – a modern-day retelling of the classic Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale and the first feature film from Kingsway Productions and Conglomerate Media and executive producer Jessica Steinbrenner. Special pre-film photo-ops on the red carpet will include the world-famous Weeki Wachee Mermaids and The Florida Aquarium street team. This is a free, family-friendly community screening, but seating is limited and you must reserve your complimentary tickets here to attend.

The Wild World of Bats Registration
Saturday, August 11 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am Join Francine Prager of Tampa Bay Bats to learn about the basic biology of these amazing flying mammals. The program begins with a presentation on the diversity and conservation of bats and will address some of the most common myths about these creatures. After the presentation, visitors will have the opportunity to view some of Ms. Prager’s live bats!
