Armature Works Inside Movie Series Presents: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
Monday, July 23 from 7p.m. to 9p.m. This Inside Movie Series features your favorite films from the 80’s! Bring your own lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy this free indoor (with AC) showing. Popcorn, candy, beer, wine and specialty drinks, and food will be available for purchase in Heights Public Market.

Wednesday, July 25th from 10a.m. to 11a.m. Armature Works is hosting a Mom & Tots (and Dads too) This is a fun and educational event for you and your children to sing, jump, dance and learn alongside with Mr. Tommy, a well-known children’s entertainer.

Hurricanes and Trees
Wednesday, July 25 from 10a.m. to 12p.m. The main goal of the program is to foster a healthy urban forest that is more wind-resistant. The program is aimed at citizens and communities who seek better management practices so that future storms are less likely to cause damage due to tree failure. Specific topics include which trees are least likely to fail in high winds, how to properly prune trees and palms to resist damage from strong winds, how to recognize potentially hazardous trees, restoring hurricane-damaged trees, and documentation needed with insurance claims for loss of trees. A University of Florida arborist and forester will also be on hand to answer any specific questions you or your community have concerning tree care. Although this is a free event you can reserve your spot here.

Feel free to bring blankets and lawn chairs to sit on the green turf during the movies!
