Inaugural Tangerine Festival arrives in Brooksville Valentine’s weekend

The Inaugural Tangerine Festival, presented by Brooksville Main Street and Lowman Law Firm, is set for Saturday, February 15, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. in downtown Brooksville (20 N Main St). This free, family-friendly event promises something for everyone and is worth the drive.

Start your day with live music on two stages. The action starts at 11:30 p.m. with Draw 4 at the Hernando Park Bandshell, followed by the Women of Rock Tribute Band at 2:30 p.m. Cap off the evening with Southbound 75 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Between sets, enjoy local musicians, dancers, and artists performing at the Homegrown Stage, with shows running from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Live music, food, and the Tangerine Treasure Market

It’s not all about the tune. Head to the Tangerine Treasure Market for unique finds, or check out the Car Show Extravaganza for a glimpse of classic and custom vehicles. Foodies will love the selection of tangerine-inspired treats from local restaurants and food trucks. At the same time, kids can enjoy the Family Fun Zone.

The festival also honors Brooksville’s rich citrus heritage. Learn about the area’s history. Don’t miss the exciting Tangerine Royalty Pageant, where the King, Queen, Prince, Princess, and even Pet Jester will be crowned. New life goal: become the Tangerine King.

The Tangerine Festival isn’t just an event; it’s a celebration of community, music, and Florida’s beloved citrus roots. This is a proper prelude to the huge Florida Strawberry Festival in Plant City.
