Florida’s huge snowpark, Snowcat Ridge, reopens this November with new attractions

It’s going to snow in Tampa Bay this year! Not really, but we can get a taste of the winter season at Florida’s snow park, Snowcat Ridge. The venue is now selling tickets for its fifth season which officially begins on November 22 at 27839 Saint Joe Road. Yes, in Florida we can enjoy big indoor water parks and snow parks at the same time. The park will remain open through March 2.

This Alpine Park includes slopes for sledding and tubing, cozy cabins to enjoy s’mores and hot chocolate, gift shops, holiday decor, igloos available for reservation and more. You can see all the attractions, reserve tickets and more on Snowcat Ridge’s website.

Enjoy Tampa Bay’s massive snow park

Santa’s Christmas Lane: Santa’s Christmas Lane is your ticket to an enchanting holiday experience like no other. Immerse yourself in the joy and wonder of the season as you embark on a memorable journey through Santa’s Christmas Lane. It includes a play zone, a gift shop, strytime with Mrs Clause, and Santa’s Cozy Cabin. 

Snowy Slopes: Snowy Slopes is a 60-foot tall, 400-foot long snow tubing hill featuring single, tandem, and 10-person snow tubing. Even better, riders will be transported to the top of the hill using a pair of moving sidewalk conveyor lifts. Riders may alternate between single, tandem, and 10-person tubing throughout their session.

Arctic Igloo: The Arctic Igloo features an indoor snow play area (great for building the perfect snowman), a snowball target area, and a Bunny Slope for riders under 42″ tall designed especially for children 3 years old and younger.

Food trucks, ice skating, and real snow in the Sunshine State

Eskimo Outpost: The Eskimo Outpost is located adjacent to Snowy Slopes, and features 3 private igloos available for up to 25 guests each.

Alpine Village: The Alpine Village features several food trucks & concessions outlets serving a variety of delicious food & beverages. Cozy up to a campfire and roast s’mores in the viewing area, perfect for taking in the nightly Snowy Slopes music and light show.

Crystal Ribbon: The Crystal Ribbon is an outdoor ice skating ribbon and beginner oval. Ice skating is the quintessential winter pastime and now you can enjoy it right here at Snowcat Ridge.
