Coming soon to a stage not so far away…The Florida Orchestra’s Sci Fi Spectacular! TFO’s concerts are always electrifying, and its latest show pays tribute to the scores that defined generations. The Sci Fi Spectacular is set for January 13 at The Mahaffey Theater in St. Pete, and January 14 at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater.
Boldly go with TFO on a supersonic trip to new worlds and distant galaxies. Featuring stellar hits from science fiction movies and television, including Star Wars, Star Trek, The Mandalorian, Interstellar and more. Lawrence Loh conducts.

The current score lineup includes tunes from Jurassic Park, Captain America, Interstellar (yes, please), The Mandalorian, and Spider-Man, amongst other pop culture hits.
Ages 5 – 18 can get $20 tickets in advance for all Pops concerts. At least one paying adult purchase is required per order, and other restrictions apply. These tickets are available only through The Florida Orchestra Ticket Center.
Quick note for attendees: these scores will be performed without video accompaniment.

A special performance that will feature a film in the background is TFO’s Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince in Concert. That show is set for March 22 and 23 at the Straz Center in downtown Tampa.
