It’s high steaks in Westshore. The ubiquitous Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar plans to open a new location in the area where Bloomin’ Brands is headquartered. Fleming’s new location will be 4342 W. Boy Scout Blvd. (the site of the former Roy’s). According to Tampa Bay Business Journal, Bloomin’ also plans to build a flagship Bonefish Grill in the old Fleming’s location at 4322 W Boy Scout Blvd.
The new steakhouse will be 13,268 square feet, the TBBJ reports, and building records peg the cost to build its shell at $3.5 million. Back in April the restaurant announced the launch of its new Social Hour, a premiere of the brand’s fresh take on an elevated bar experience. Diners can enjoy shareable bar bites and $9 handcrafted cocktails from 4-6pm at the bar, Sunday through Thursday, at all locations nationwide.
