Fat Tuesday, the famous frozen drink chain, is now open in Ybor City (1704 E 7th Avenue). It joins other hotly anticiapted new spots such as Whataburger, Synergy Sweets, and Maru. This new location is the only Fat Tuesday store in the Tampa Bay area and marks a significant milestone as the company celebrates its 40th anniversary.
The new Ybor City store introduces an exciting array of menu offerings, including:

- a selection of mixed drinks, beer, and cocktails on draft
- new food items such as wet and dry rub wings and specialty pizzas
Originally opening in New Orleans in 1984, Fat Tuesday has expanded to over 100 locations nationwide. The chain is known for its colorful frozen drinks served in tall souvenir cups. In celebration of the grand opening, the store will offer a special discount on its popular Sports Bottle cup, which will be available for $10 (regularly priced at $19) from August 30 through September 1.
