Tampa has some terrifying attractions for adults, but we also have plenty of events that kids can safely enjoy too. Three of the top attractions in Tampa have put together only slightly spooky events the entire family can enjoy.

Guppyween at Florida Aquarium
The Florida Aquarium will host Guppyween October 28 and 29 from 9:30am-5pm. Children in costume get in free with a paid adult. The event features creepy critter encounters, free trick or treating, musical entertainment, costumed divers, and underwater pumpkin carving.
A sensory-friendly version of the event will take place between the hours of 8am and 9:30am on Saturday, October 28.
A Night at the Museum with the History Center
A Night at The Museum is a special event put together by the Tampa Bay History Center. This fun and educational event takes place on October 22 from 4pm-7pm. Tickets are selling out fast, you can reserve yours on the History Center’s website.

When the museum closes, its exhibits come to life. At this family-friendly Halloween event, guests will enjoy trick-or-treating in the museum galleries along with a costume contest, photo opportunities, crafts and games, and special characters roaming the museum. Tickets run from free for kids 3 and under to $16.95 for adults.
Creatures of the Night at ZooTampa
Creatures of the Night is a month-long experience at ZooTampa. Join the community for a night of eerie family frights. Ghouls and goblins of all ages can enjoy howling outdoor experiences, spooky characters, creepy culinary treats, and much more.
ZooTampa Members and Pay For A Day ticket holders get free admission to seasonal events like Creatures of the Night. The event runs during weekends (Saturday and Sunday) through October 29 from 4pm-10pm. You can reserve tickets in advance online.
