Out of the Darkness Walk gives people the courage to open up about their own connections to suicide and provides a platform to create a culture that’s smarter about mental health. Friends, family members, neighbors and coworkers walk side-by-side, supporting each other and in memory of those they’ve lost. Let’s come together as a community to honor those we have lost, support those who are struggling, and work towards a brighter future. Together, we can make a difference.
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide. AFSP creates a culture that’s smart about mental health through education and community programs, develops suicide prevention through research and advocacy, and provides support for those affected by suicide.
