Flamenco has been Siudy Garrido’s passion almost since birth. Daughter of Siudy Quintero, the acclaimed flamenco dancer and instructor, she made her stage debut at age 5. She has carried on and added to her family’s legacy, mastering other dance styles and bringing elements of jazz, classical and contemporary dance to expand flamenco’s artistic range and its audience. Bailaora is a deeply personal work, an autobiographical journey exploring the evolution of flamenco as well as Siudy’s individual journey.
