‘Tis the season for festive movies on the lawn. Truth be told, I’m more of a horror movie fan, but I can’t help but be filled with glee anytime Buddy the Elf makes his own version of candy-covered breakfast spaghetti. I feel like Datz needs to add it to their menu for December.
Armature Works, the wildly popular shopping, dining, and coworking, is bringing back its popular Movies on the Lawn series for the holiday season. Here’s what’s on the schedule:
Buddy the Elf, what’s your favorite color?
The always quotable, very jubilant, and modern Christmas classic Elf will be the first holiday flick Armature screens.
Grab a lawn chair, a blanket, and bring the whole family out for this fun viewing experience. opcorn will be available for purchase along with food and drinks from any of the vendors with in Heights Public Market.
The Elf screening begins at 6:30pm. The event is free to attend, but those interested are encouraged to RSVP online.
You’ll shoot your eye out.
How about a nice football?
Fra-gee-lay…It must be Italian!
You know the moments. You know the quotes. The sleeper hit film about one boy’s quest to get a Red Ryder BB Gun for Christmas has enchanted viewers for decades. It’s so beloved that it plays for 24 straight hours every single Christmas.
In case you’d rather watch A Christmas Story under the stars, you can catch this fantastic film on December 23 on the lawn at Armature.
The screening begins at 6:30pm and you can register for the free event in advance online.
Armature Works is located at 1910 N Ola Avenue.
The venue has a ton of holiday events lined up outside of the movies on the lawn series.
