DICK’S House of Sport, an experimental offshoot of DICK’S Sporting Goods, is set to open in Tampa. The brand teased its announcement on Instagram with aesthetic photos of Bayshore Boulevard. The new store is set to open on October 11 at the International Plaza (2223 N West Shore Blvd).
The grand opening weekend will include appearances from legendary Tampa Bay athletes:

Sunday, October 13 4pm- 5:30pm
At approximately 100,000+ square feet, the store provides athletes with an incredible assortment of products along with in-store experiences including a climbing wall, multiple golf bays with TrackMan simulators, and a multi-sport cage that can be used for baseball, softball, lacrosse and soccer and give athletes an opportunity to try product while measuring and tracking their performance.
A massive shopping experience in Tampa
The Grand Opening festivities will kick off on Friday, October 11, with a variety of in-store events, giveaways and activations that will continue throughout the weekend, including:
- A ribbon cutting ceremony
- Sports Matter Grant presentation
- Player appearances from athletes Evan Longoria, Derrick Brooks, Caeleb Dressel and Andrei Vasilevskiy
- Mystery Gift Cards for the first 100 adults (18 years and older) in line each day
- DSG football giveaway to the first 100 kids (under 18) in line each morning
- Doorbuster deals, sweepstakes, parking lot activations and more
