Datz has officially opens its third location this week in Riverview in the heart of the Winthrop Town Center shopping district. It’s the gold standard in munchies spots. If you love bourbon, cheese, baked goods, and/or burgers, this sweet haven is vital.

Datz creates 75 new jobs
The newest location will be led by General Manager, and Datz Restaurant Group veteran, Angel Campos. According to the current government mandate, Datz Riverview will open at 25 percent capacity and with intensified health and safety measures. In the face of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Datz has created 75 new jobs with the opening of its new location.
The Datz Riverview menu, spearheaded by Chef Eric Raymond, includes the brand’s larger-than-life signature dishes such as Datchos, built on a bed of house-made sweet-n-salty chips topped with chili, cheese, jalapeño, sour cream, blue cheese drizzle and scallions, and The Cheesy Todd ground brisket, short rib and ground chuck burger served on two bacon-jalapeño mac n’ cheese “buns” with all the fixings.
Devour bacon doughnut waffles
Datz Riverview will also offer its widely celebrated brunch with dishes like Salted Caramel Bacon Doughnut Waffles, Cubano Breakfast Sandwiches and Eggs Barbacoa.

There’s also a range of vegetarian and vegan-friendly items on the menu, such as The Beyond Burger, Stuffed Acorn Squash with black beans, corn, mushrooms, Beyond meat, cilantro and roasted peppers, and Farmers Market Breakfast Scramble made with JUST egg, onions, peppers, black beans, corn pico de gallo, guacamole and tortilla strips.
As for cocktails, Datz’ Bar Manager for all locations, Thomas Nesselhauf, will lead the team serving up Datz’s wildly original libations like Salted Caramel Old Fashioned, theFrosé For My Brosé slushie made with Wodka Vodka and Cotes de Provence Rosé and the Spaaa Blahblahblah gin cocktail mixed with lemon juice, cucumber and Mr. Q Cumber soda.
7,600-square-foot restaurant space
Once Florida restaurant capacities are approved to return to 100 percent, Datz Riverview’s 7,600-square-foot space will be able to accommodate 130 guests in its indoor dining and bar areas, as well as 60 in its outdoor patio seating.
Staff members who are artists were also hired to create a large Datz logo collaged from old menus. Diners will enjoy ample parking available in the Center’s large lot.
