Prepare to embark on an extraordinary culinary journey along the Hillsborough River, as Yacht Starship Dining Cruises unveils its latest masterpiece – the innovative “Craft,” a European-style river cruise ship like no other.
At a remarkable 130 feet in length, boasting a mere 11-foot air draft, Craft takes the crown as the largest commercial vessel to grace the Hillsborough River, effortlessly navigating under five of its lowest bridges.

Craft’s allure lies in its ability to host up to 150 passengers and an open kitchen concept complete with a gas grill and stove. Guests can savor their meals in style with three distinct dining experiences: indoors, outdoors, or at the inviting bar. An elegant touch of nostalgia awaits as a 1914 vintage wooden cruiser transforms into a charming bar.
The pièce de résistance? The cuisine is masterfully crafted by Executive Chef Allison Beasman, a Tampa native with a penchant for blending innovation and tradition. While specific menu items remain a tantalizing secret, Craft promises brunch, dinner, and craft cocktail options to delight your palate.
The launch date is still TBD but Craft will soon be ready to accept reservations this fall.
Troy Manthey, President and CEO of Yacht Starship Dining Cruises, shared his enthusiasm stating, “Craft has been a dream of ours since the first cruise in Tampa over 22-years ago. It’s a purpose-built vessel, creating a new era of cruising in Tampa, which is sure to exceed guest expectations. Tampa was recently ranked first in boat tours by Wallet Hub and as the operator of Florida’s most diverse fleet of passenger vessels we are proud of this distinction!”
Yacht Starship Dining Cruise already casts a significant presence in downtown Tampa, with a fleet including the Pirate Water Taxi, Lost Pearl, Bay Rocket, Tampa Riverwalk Rentals, and the iconic Yacht Starship. Tampa, brace yourselves for the arrival of Craft, promising a fresh era of river cruising like never before! Follow along with Craft on Instagram.
