Copper Shaker, an acclaimed craft cocktail bar in St. Petersburg, will officially open in Ybor City on December 7 at 7pm. The bustling cocktail bar in downtown St. Pete is looking to infuse Ybor City with a new kind of spirit. The bar takes over the former Flynn’s Retro Bar & Gaming at 1502 East 7th Avenue.

The locally-owned business serves up more than just drinks. Copper Shaker’s menu is flush with savory appetizers.
Live music at the Grand Opening Event
“Gloria West & The Gents will be serenading guests with their soulful selection of old school jazz (with a sultry twist)!” reads the Facebook event page. “The Copper Shaker Ybor staff will be stirring and shaking all your favorite drinks and the C.S. Kitchen will be open for business, providing our new menu as well as passed hors d’oeuvres to welcome our guests.”
Let’s hope they bring over the fried shiitake strips, hanging tender mojo steak, and the truffled shroom and onion flatbread.
As for the drinks, you can’t go wrong with smokestack. This cocktail features Whistle Pig Rye Whiskey, maple syrup, and creole and orange bitters. Oh yea, it’s smoked too.
Exquisite drink menu in Ybor City
The Mr. Tea is a total palate refresher, and a flavorful pick-me-up at the bar. Sip on a cocktail made with black tea infused bourbon, raw sugar, aromatic and peach bitters.
