Comic Con Cruise Sails to Tampa, Tater Tot & Beer Fest Planned

With the election weighing heavily on the nation, we thought we’d take a quick look at a couple of events that have us looking forward to the year ahead.

Stars of Stranger Things, Walking Dead Join Comic Con Cruise

This January, FAN2SEA, a Comic Con cruise, will travel from our city to Key West and Cozumel, Mexico. Pop cultures brightest stars will be aboard Royal Caribbean’s Brilliance of the Seas for this one of a kind event.

Famed graphic novelist Frank Miller, best known for The Knight Returns, Sin City and Daredevil, will speak on a panel that includes the team behind The Dark Knight III. Also taking part in a panel discussion are the stars of Netflix’s mega hit Stranger Things — panelists include Millie Bobby Brown, David Harbour, Caleb McLaughlin and Randy Havens.

The cruise will also feature master and spotlight classes by Marvel and DC Comics artists and writers, tons of cosplay, movie marathons and more. Tickets start at $400 per person. Tater Tots & Beer a.k.a. A Dream Come True

A slew of new festivals have made Tampa a haven for food, drink and music lovers. Time to add one more event to the list of must-attends in 2017: Tater Tots and Beer Festival. Attendees will be treated to an all you can eat and drink affair, featuring a huge selection of domestic imported and crafted beers, along with unique tater tot creations.

The festival will run from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday, April 8. 2,000 general admission tickets and 200 VIP passes are available. This is a 21+ event.
