Signature whole pies include the Hot Luganiga made with premium fresh mozzarella, housemade Luganiga (wine + cheese sausage), red sauce dollops, fresh basil, and pecorino romano. Another interesting pie emanating from this truck is the Sicilian Cream pizza. It’s made with EVOO, baby spinach, premium fresh mozzarella, housemade Sicilian cream sauce, and pecorino romano.
Cipriano Zonin, a family-owned pizzeria steeped in tradition, made its official debut in Water Street Tampa back in May. The brand new mobile pizzeria offers authentic old-world recipes, made with imported Italian ingredients and cooked to perfection in a stone oven.
Cipriano Zonin is a top new pizza spot in Tampa
The story of Cipriano Zonin begins in Gambellara, Italy, where the Zonin family created their signature Italian sausage company and recipes. With the immigration of Co-Founder Ashley Salmon’s great-grandfather, Cipriano Zonin, to Manhattan in the 1920s, the family quickly became renowned for their culinary expertise. Today, Cipriano Zonin brings their unique family recipes and flavors to Tampa Bay’s growing pizza scene.
Co-founders Ashley and John Salmon share a passion for quality food, and together they bring their vision to life with Cipriano Zonin. The brand features four specialty pizzas served by the slice, including ingredients like imported Italian plum tomatoes, Luganiga sausage, imported Italian double-zero flour, and house-made Sicilian cream sauce.
