Simply having a wonderful Christmas time here in the Tampa Bay region. Plant City’s 40th Annual Christmas Lane extravaganza is back and it’s glowing with 180,000 watts of power. Over 2000 volunteer hours have prepared the winter wonderland full of the magic. With over 1.5 million lights, drawing more than 180,000 watts of power, adorning over 200 Christmas trees from 4 to 40 feet, the Christmas Lane scenes are built with local love.
Christmas Lane is on view through December 24 at 2508 West Oak Avenue. Those interested in purchasing tickets can do so in advance online. Parking is free and is located immediately in front of the Charlie Grimes Family Agriculture Building at the Florida Strawberry Festival.
The festivities here include live musical performances, Christmas characters, Fritzy the One Man Circus, a KidZone and more. The KidZone features letters to Santa, face painting, ornament coloring, a fantastic LEGO station, and more. All of this entertainment is included with the price of admission.
Take a ride on the merry-go-round, navigate the light maze, and immerse yourself in the Christmas element. It’s one of the most highly regarded attractions in Plant City, and is well worth the trip for folks seeking family-friendly activities in the region.
