Tampa indoor activities: Cheeseology, a make your own cheese studio in Ybor City

Cheeseology, a locally-owned make-your-own cheese workshop, opened its brick-and-mortar studio in Historic Ybor City (1527 E 7th Ave) in the winter of 2024. It’s quicly become one of the most beloved spots in the historic district, it’s also a fantastic way to spend an afternoon in the city over hte summer.

“Our vision is to be the premier provider of cheese-making experiences where people come together to make lasting memories,” write owners Paul and Kelly in the company vision statement.

• Cannoli Kit, $85

Cheeseology’s wine expert Meredith has hand-selected boutique vineyards with small production runs so visitors likely will try wines that they can’t get anywhere else. It’s one of the coolest and tastiest indoor activities in Tampa.
