This month, Mize Gallery will host a new exhibit, Say Gay, in recognition of Pride Month in the ‘Burg. Chad Mize to make art at Disney World

Mize’s murals have evolved into signature icons of the Sunshine City and even in Hyde Park Village. His Twiggy Mural has captivated residents and visitors for the better part of a decade. Mr. Sun remains a foundational work on the 600 Block of Central Avenue. His work branches beyond walls, too. Mize’s art has been incorporated by the Tampa Bay Rays, St. Pete Pride, and Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority. His version of Mr. Sun will soon adorn the new Sunrunner Bus carrying passengers from downtown St. Pete to the Beach.

You’d be hard-pressed to miss his ubiquitous “Paris. London. Tokyo. St. Pete” t-shirts, and bandannas, the proverbial Sunshine City Jersey. We’re excited to see what art this St. Pete muralist brings to the well-trafficked and globally beloved Walt Disney World in Orlando.
