Busch Gardens has joined other Florida theme parks in reopening to the public with new safety precautions. Officials at the park are now looking to show thanks for military veterans with a new discount.

Waves of Honor permits any U.S. active duty military, activated or drilling reservist, or National Guardsman to one complimentary admission per year to either SeaWorld, Busch Gardens or Sesame Place for military personnel and as many as three direct dependents.

Service members and their direct dependents must have a valid active military ID in order to participate. Inactive, standby and retired reserve members, military retirees, U.S. Merchant Marine and civilian Department of Defense workers are ineligible for the program. SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment reserves the right to terminate the program.

Learn more by visiting Busch Gardens’ website.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and Adventure Island have launched new safety websites with detailed information about the measures that guests can expect when the parks reopen, including key operational changes. Specific information by park can be found by visiting the following websites:

·         Buschgardens.com/tampa/safety

·         Adventureisland.com/safety

To help manage capacity to maintain physical distancing within the parks, all parks will require advance online reservations. Guests will be asked to visit the reservation pages of park websites where reservations will be required to guarantee entry given anticipated demand. Reservations will be available starting at 10am on June 8.
