Brick’s Smoked Meats brings big Texas BBQ and brunch to Brandon

There’s a new must-try BBQ destination in the area. Brick’s Smoked Meats has opened its doors at 775 Brandon Town Center, bringing its renowned Texas-inspired barbecue to Brandon. The restaurant, which also operates a well-regarded location in Sarasota, offers a menu inspired by central Texas “low & slow” cooking, paired with chophouse favorites and a touch of Sarasota style.

The star of the menu is the 18-hour USDA Prime Brisket, “made the traditional way with just wood, smoke, and time,” according to the owners. The restaurant’s full bar features a variety of whiskeys and tequilas, perfect for pairing with the rich, smoky flavors of the food.

For brunch, patrons can enjoy unique offerings like pork belly deviled eggs, bacon burnt ends, and smoked poblano queso. Other highlights include a smoked pork breakfast sandwich, breakfast tacos, and bacon burnt end hash. If you’re feeling parched and peckish, treat yourself to the ultimate Brick’s Bloody Mary, which comes garnished with a St. Louis rib, bacon burnt ends, and hops-picked veggies.

The dinner menu boasts a range of mouthwatering options such as the brisket chili nacho platter and the big Texas quesadilla, available with either pork or chicken. Guests can also savor smoked pulled chicken, USDA prime brisket, house sausage with jalapeño, and smoked meatloaf. For those craving steak, the menu offers an 8 oz flat iron steak, a spitfire BBQ half chicken, and a 14 oz ribeye. The brisket tacos have also received rave reviews and become a go-to order for many regulars, according to its stellar reviews.
