“The reception we get from the artists who are playing, everyone is thankful for the opportunity,” Breakaway co-founder Adam Lynn told Pollstar. “The opportunity to be growing in this kind of climate gives us a lot of leverage when we’re approaching agencies and now we have 10 cities we’re booking against for next year.” Lynn says the company also looks to build out its artist management and influencer representation business. The long-term goal is for 20 Breakaway festivals nationally according to a report by Pollstar.
Breakaway reveals huge Tampa lineup at Raymond James Stadium
The festival is known for showcasing both established and up-and-coming artists, offering attendees a chance to experience live music performances in an energetic and vibrant atmosphere. Breakaway Music Festival often incorporates other elements such as art installations, food vendors, and interactive experiences to create a memorable festival experience for attendees.
This could bring thousands of attendees to the Tampa area at the tail end of spring break season, and should provide a major economic impact.
Created in Columbus, Ohio, in 2016, Breakaway has gone on to become the “must-see event” for music lovers across the country. With the festival expanding into multiple cities, Breakaway welcomed over 100,000 attendees at its festival in 2023 alone.
