The Annual Brazilian Festival in Florida has become the “largest community event in the state,” according to the organizers. They further describe it as “a beacon and symbol of Brazil’s rich musical heritage and cultural diversity.” The event is a showcase for some of Brazil’s most iconic artists, promoting multicultural unity, and to inspire environmental awareness. The 13th edition of the event will take place on May 18 from 12pm-10pm at Water Works Park (1701 N Highland Avenue) in Tampa. Tickets are $35 and can be reserved online. Kids 12 and under enjoy free admission.

Attendees will enjoy a taste of Brazilian cuisine with multiple food vendors represented. Festivities also include a large carnival parade, samba dancers, and live music. Guests can enjoy live music by Florida’s O Som Do Jazz. Capoeira demonstrates, a runway show, and ballet performers will take the stage, as well.
