The Shops at Wiregrass is a hotspot for dining and retail in the Tampa Bay region. Its always anticipated Fresh Market is also a must attend event for those on the hunt for good produce. 2023 will be another banner year for new arrivals, one key debut is the expansion of Bosphorous, a restaurant renowned for its Turkish cuisine. They currently operate two restaurants in Orlando, one in Winter Garden, and another in Winter Park.
The Turkish food s carefully hand crafted by their experienced Chefs and their culinary teams. “At Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine, we labor each and every day using only Halal meats which are fresh, never frozen,” write the owners. “The freshest vegetables, and most authentic Mediterranean ingredients, many of which we import directly from Turkey, are used in our dips, salads, and side plates.”

Bosphorous brings Turkish-style pizza to Tampa Bay
Chicken patties, lamb shanks, kebap options, veggie saute, and lamb kofte are key features on the Bosphorous menu. These dishes are served with rice pilaf and a fresh vegetable medley of pickled red cabbage, beets, carrots and red onions sprinkled with parsley and all topped with a freshly made Turkish vinaigrette.
Must try appetizers, according to a staggering list of 5-star reviews, include smoked eggplant, lavas (hollow bread), pan-fried zucchini patties, and lahmacun (Turkish style pizza). Celebrated desserts include pistachio baklava and Turkish pineapple delight, which features layers of moist yellow sponge cake, pineapple and mousse topped with white chocolate shavings.
