Tampa’s hotly anticipated champagne bar, Bouzy, is officially open in Hyde Park Village. The bar is just next to Public Studio and Hyde House, a thriving creative space in the city. Cru Hospitality Group, parent company of Cru Cellars, is behind the concept. This destination for refined dining and intimate experiences will showcase some of the world’s best bubbly and satisfy the desire for timeless, yet modern elegance and hospitality. Bouzy is located on Snow Avenue, between Hyde House Public Studio and Clean Juice.

“Cru Hospitality Group is thrilled to expand into such a vibrant community,” said Jennifer Bingham, Owner and Sommelier at Cru Hospitality Group. “The name comes from the top village of Bouzy in Champagne because we’re bringing the best bubbly to Tampa. We aim to be a staple for residents and visitors to Hyde Park Village.”

Bouzy makes major debut in Hyde Park Village

“We are thrilled to welcome yet another phenomenal locally-owned and created business to Hyde Park Village! Under Jennifer’s vision, Bouzy is sure to delight all who visit Hyde Park Village and become a destination for celebrating life’s big and small moments,” says Nicole Dee, General Manager of Hyde Park Village.

Bouzy is a champagne and cocktail bar with a curated menu of 200 wine selections.  Alongside small plates and entrees, sommelier-trained bartenders will be pouring sparkling and still wines, champagnes and craft cocktails every night.

Chef Eric Bach will lead the culinary staff at Bouzy as its Executive Chef. Bach was previously an Executive Sous Chef at Bern’s Steak House and more recently, a Sous Chef at Cru Cellars. Inspired by French cuisine and sampling-style dining, Bach has curated the entire Bouzy food menu, which will feature light bites, fresh seafood options, a variety of tasting boards and main plates to be prepared.

Chic dining space in Tampa

In addition to its effervescent interior environment, Bouzy will feature a chic and more secluded dining space for guests to enjoy on a nightly basis, as well as reserve for private events. Guests will enter the space in speakeasy fashion, with the layout reminiscent of a uniquely refined champagne cellar. Bouzy will be open for guests from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday. The concept will seat 90 guests between its indoor and patio spaces.

Since 2010, Cru Cellars has captivated Tampa wine enthusiasts and food lovers with its award-winning cuisine and unique wine tasting experience. After growing Cru Cellars to three locations across Tampa and experiencing over a decade of success, Cru Hospitality Group will expand to bring new brands to locals. With three concepts opening soon, Cru Hospitality Group extends further into Tampa’s modern, classy evening dining and beverage scenes. In addition to Bouzy, Wine on Water wine and spirits shop and Small Giant bar and restaurant in Water Street Tampa are also slated to open soon.
