Barrio Taco has officially opened its doors at 1822 E 7th Ave in Ybor City. Established in 2012 in Tremont, Ohio, Barrio has been recognized as one of the top 10 taco stands in the U.S. It also might be our favorite new brunch destination.
The restaurant offers a laid-back atmosphere with a lively vibe, thanks to its unique decor and music. Barrio Taco is also known for its extensive tequila, whiskey, and beer selection. It’s basically a little liquor library on historic 7th Avenue.

Highlights from the menu include the Mango Tango Guac, a spicy and refreshing Freezing Hot Margarita made with jalapeño-infused El Jimador Blanco and various creative tacos. Popular options include blackened cod tacos and cornmeal-breaded fried oysters served on corn tortillas.
Brunch lovers will enjoy their Cowboy Brunch Taco, featuring Coca-Cola marinated steak, Yukon hash, an over-easy egg, crispy onions, and chipotle honey BBQ sauce. Other brunch offerings include an Elderflower Fresca and loaded mimosas.
