The latest addition to Armature Works (1910 N Ola Ave), Bap Bap, has entered its soft opening phase, bringing a taste of traditional Korean cuisine to the area. This new eatery, inspired by the Korean word “Bap” meaning cooked rice, aims to offer more than just food—Bap embodies the essence of happiness and love, central to significant life events and celebrations in Korean culture.
Bap Bap’s menu features an array of traditional Korean dishes, including Beef Bulgogi, Korean Fried Chicken, Japchae, Corn Cheese, and a variety of Banchan (small side dishes) like Kimchi, Fish Cakes, Pickled Radish, and Sesame Spinach. In addition to these staples, diners can enjoy pre-set signature dishes such as Beef Bulgogi Bap, Seoul Tofu Salad, KFC Bap, and Pork Japchae. For those looking to customize their meal, the Build Your Own Bap (BYOB) option allows patrons to select their base, main ingredients, toppings, and sauces including bulgogi sauce, ssamjang, and gochujang aioli.

“We are pleased to contribute to the diverse offerings at Armature Works,” said Ferdian Jap, Managing Partner at Majestic Restaurant Group. “We are fortunate to have Head Chef Allan Armstrong, a talented Korean American chef who showcases his Korean heritage through Bap Bap.”
Bap Bap is open seven days a week and can be followed on Instagram.
You can build your bowls with Korean Fried Chicken, Soy Braised Tofu, Beef Bulgogi, and Crispy Pork Belly. Desserts include Rice Cake Churros, and Melona (Korean ice cream popsicle).
This joins recent openings Champagne Porch, Ling’s Dumplings and Han Hand Roll Bar, Fit Bowl Co., and The Fold Pizza.
