The rich get richer. Heights Public Market at Armature Works, the local food market that is drawing national attention and bringing James Beard-winners to Tampa, is getting two new spots that are sure to only make this spot even more of a food hub in our growing city: SOHO Juice Co. and Stones Throw, an oyster bar.
Welcome SOHO Juice Co. to the Armature Works Family
While SOHO Juice Co. is certainly not new to Tampa, as the company will now have three locations across the city, it is new to Armature Works. The new location, right next to Empamamas, meets a need at the popular hall for additional options for our vegan and gluten-free brethren.
“Since our other locations are standalone, it’s exciting to be a part of a joint effort with the other vendors in Heights Public Market to showcase the best of what Tampa has to offer under one roof…To be in a venue that resonates with the culture of our company, which centers around community, is really exciting.”
– Justin Basil, CEO of SOHO Juice Co.
For those who are not familiar, SOHO Juice Co. is a cold-press juicer specializing in juices, smoothies, plant-based snacks, vegan and gluten-free baked goods, and some wildly healthy bowls like the Cloud 9 bowl with mango, pineapple, banana, blue algae, strawberries and a whole shebang of nutritional nutrients! Also, if you have never tried it, go get one of their health shots – so science-y!
Stones Throw is bringing more oysters to your world
Stone’s Throw is the other new addition to the market and also meets a real need: oysters and fresh-caught seafood. Don’t get me wrong, there are options for some great seafood – Steelbach has both banging hot and cold oysters – but we need more oysters, the more aphrodisiacs the better! Stones Throw is more mysterious on their opening date, but they are hiring right now in case you are in need of a new gig.
