Alert Coffee Co to debut inside 7venth Sun Brewing this weekend

A new craft coffee roastery is prepping to debut this weekend in Seminole Heights. Named Alert Coffee Co., the caffeinated concept will be in good company as it opens its doors inside the celebrated 7venth Sun Brewing.

“Our mission is to provide thoughtfully sourced specialty coffee from around the world, roasted to bring out the best in each bean,” the owners note on Alert Coffee’s website. “We want our customers to learn and grow with us on this pursuit of excellent coffee.”

Alert’s blends are currently available for pre-order on the company’s website. Intriguing blends include the Kingfisher Espresso Blend.

This blend of Latin American and Ethiopian coffees is sweet and round with rich, syrupy chocolate notes, balanced by a subtle pop of berries and acidity.

Another blend, currently available for pre-order is the Inmaculada Geisha varietal, which is regarded the world over as some of the most sweet, complex, and coveted coffee.

Inmaculada farms produces this with painstaking care and precision. Sorting each batch by hand to produce only the best cherries of the lot.

Recently Inmaculada Geisha was used to win the 2020 United Stated Barista Championship, according to Alert Coffee Co’s website.

This 90 point coffee is remarkably complex while maintaining exceptional balance. Floral orange blossom followed by blackberry with a maple Syrup sweetness. This creamy bodied coffee finishes with clean orange acidity and lingering notes of rose tea.
