Most food lover’s in the Tampa Bay region have experience the glory of a meal at Bavaro’s. This Tampa gem opened in March of 2009. At the time, it was one of the city’s first traditional Neapolitan Pizzeria in the state of Florida.
Determined to share their family recipes with the world, Dan Bavaro, his wife Anna-Maria, and their five beautiful children moved from New Jersey to Tampa, and set out to provide for others the same love, energy, and authenticity that they experience around their own dinner table.
Menu items include ricotta meatballs, tagliatelle alla bolognese, and perfect penne alla vodka. The prosciutto cotto pizza, and the margherita pizza are addictively good.
Owner Dan Bavaro’s next endeavor, will deliver that same exquisite Italian cuisine.
Oronzo promises to be the Chipotle of Italian food serving from scratch recipes in a fast casual environment supported by state of the art technology. The team behind the restaurant brings with it 50+ years in the industry. The restaurant gets its name from Dan Bavaro’s grandfather.
An opening timeline is still TBA.
Bavaro’s Tampa is still open for curbside pickup/delivery.
