What’s in a name?

You may know it as the bogeyman, but in the Philippines, it goes by the term “Mumu’… The mere uttering of the name sends children into a frenzy. Whether they’re being asked to arrive home before dark or sent to bed so parents can have their ‘grown up time’. The Mumu is going to get you.

Restauranteur Chris Arreola and Chef Dion Jumapao connected through the industry when Chris saw the opportunity for Dion to enrich his journey in the culinary world.

The must try items on the menu include the Pancit Bihon made with stir fried rice and wheat noodles, chicken, and mixed vegetables. Lumpia is also at the top of the takeout menu, made with pork, shrimp, chili lime vinaigrette, spiced coconut vinegar, butter lettuce, mint.

The menu also includes adobo spareribs and steamed wings. Save room for the coconut cheesecake, too.

Mumu Kitchen is now open for takeout and delivery. Learn more by visiting Mumu’s website. You can also follow the restaurant on Facebook and Instagram.

Mumu Kitchen is located at 1910 N Ola Avenue. Open Tuesday + Thursday from noon-9pm. They plan to expand their operation hours soon.
